Bronze Coil Decorations

Bronze spiral decorations are documented in archaeological finds from the 6th to 19th centuries in Estonia according to Rammo and Ratas. There is also evidence of finds from from the 4th and 5th centuries in Lithuania and from the 6th century in Latvia (Volkaitė Kulikauskienė 1997, 131; Zariņa 1999, fig 27). There is evidence for bronze coil decorations use across the baltic region.
